185th Armor Battalion from Santa Barbara CA, reflagged as Charlie Company. The California Battalion was attached to the 81st Brigade Combat team from Fort Lewis, WA and activated in 11/2003 and deployed to Iraq. Charlie company was assigned as Force Protection at Camp Cedar Iraq and later moved to Talil AB. We flew the Bear Flag over the company CP and BDOC for a time.
