FIFTH ANNIVERSARY

Today is the 5th Anniversary of the Bear Flag Museum going online and beginning to share with the public. It has been an interesting 5 years for certain.

The next months offers us the opportunity to grow even further in developing our status and sharing more information with you.

We spoke this past Saturday at a banquet of the leaders of the Native Sons of the Golden West and look forward to future opportunities to work with the Sons in sharing the history of the Bear Flag with Californians.

Over $200 for a 1966 Reagan Bear Flag campaign pin

This 1966 campaign pin for Ronald Reagan's gubernatorial campaign in California bearing a simplified image of the California Bear Flag image, sans star and stripe, sold this past week on ebay for a whopping $222.76. A pretty amazing sum for a campaign pin.
